The early batch will be powered by three petrol engines: gasoline engines planned as a 1.6-litre 102hp (75kW), a 1.8-litre 150hp (110kW) and a 2.0-litre TSI that makes 200hp (147kW). Two diesel options are untaken in the 143hp (105kW) and 170hp (125kW) 2.0-litre engine. All the engines will be mated to a 6-tempo guide gearbox at launch.
The ST family-sized rendering goes on selling before summer 2010 with the same engines and tackle as the four-door form. However the ST will be longer and propose more gumboot legroom because of its amount. Prices for the base version Exeo start at €21,990 ($28,600).
