Not much time passed since the release of the last VW Golf MkVI but we already have information on the next-generation Golf MkVII. And our information on this new hatchback, slated for a 2012 unveiling.

The recently revealed promotional video of VW L1 Concept suddenly show us a groupe of designers which work on clay styling model of the next-generation Golf. But the photo proves that work is well underway on the new Golf, suggesting a particularly condensed lifecycle for the unfilled MkVi car.

2010 Toyota Auris Facelift Revealed in Japan (details and photos)

The 2010 Toyota Auris hatchback formally launched in Japan nowadays. According to the automaker, the 2010 Auris receives some trivial external tweaks that involve revised grilles, front and rear bumpers, headlamps, tail lights and alloy wheels boon a new cover mean. Interior refinements come as new paint options, upgraded utensils and better standard equipment on certain models.

In addition to changes in design, Toyota noted that the 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine repayment from a revised patchy timing system for the inlet and exhaust valves that improves fuel efficiency and power output. Furthermore, all 1.8L models equipped with a CVT secure new steering-wheel mounted paddle-shifters that permit the driver to flip through the gears at the flick of a name.

Honda has revealed the first official photos of the all-new 2010 Accord Crosstour CUV for the North American market. The car will go on sale in the States this fall.

Honda not uncovered all the details but a close inspection of the photos reveals a “4WD” badge sense that the Accord Crosstour will whichever be unfilled with all-controls urge as yardstick or as a choice.

AmericanMuscle On the Set of SpeedTV’s Pass Time

September 30, 2009, MALVERN, PA — Surely a sign of the looming apocalypse, AmericanMuscle.com recently went under the bright lights, and behind the scenes of a nationally broadcast TV show, SPEED TV’s hit game show Pass Time.

Filmed on location at many of America’s favorite grass roots drag strips, Pass Time offers a chance for any would-be drag racer, whether first timer or experienced pro, Mustang or minivan, to make a run pass as two contestants attempt to predict 1/4-mile drag times to win cash. Simply put, “Guess the time, win the cash – it’s that easy,” according to show host Brett Wagner.

New Toyota FT-86 Concept Previewed ahead of Tokyo Motor Show (details and photos)

Toyota and Subaru have been collaborating on a jointly developed sport coupe model. Previously, we have seen some renderings and first information of this sports car and now, we get a preview of the FT-86 Concept, which will be debut at the 2009  Tokyo Motor Show.

The sport vehicle’s dimensions are honestly compact with a length of 4,16 meters and a height of 1,26 m (width and wheelbase are 1,76 and 2,57 meters, respectively) and a low midpoint of gravity. The FT-86 was formed by Toyota’s Europe Design Development and it’s objective was to alter a car with a “functional function” target theme.
