New 2011 McLaren MP4-12C Supercar Officially Revealed (details and photos)

The British supercars maker has officially revealed the 2011 McLaren MP4-12C. New McLaren will be produced in the UK with sales expected to begin in early 2011.

The McLaren MP4-12C features dynamic styling that was purposely intended to be timeless and pertinent for being to come. While the end answer looks kind of generic from certain angles, McLaren points out that nearly every position was designed to be insincere functional. Obviously the car skin a little McLaren lovely, but that’s regularly narrow to the F1-inspired dihedral doors and air scoops that resemble the McLaren logo. Out back, the car features LED taillights and matchless base-mounted dual exhaust tips.

Car Crash: $2 Million McLaren F1 Supercar Suddenly Flames on Road in California [+video]

It happened on June 1, 2009, near Airport Boulevard in Santa Rosa, California, when the owner took out his McLaren F1 after six months of storage and an onlooker alerted the owner to smoke coming from the engine bay. The fire spread quickly and consumed the carbon fiber body work and the 627HP 6.1-liter BMW V12 with horrifying efficiency. You lure over to take the looks and the next thing you know, the car is up in flames.

Reporter in the video below explained that the McLaren F1, which appeal an estimated $2 million but was allegedly insured for $3 million, was an undamaged passing.

Awesome Swiss-tuned Mercedes McLaren SLR 999 Red Gold Dream

Swiss designer Ueli Anliker presents his new tuning work the Mercedes McLaren SLR 999 Red Gold Dream. He claims to have depleted more than 30,000 man hours and about 5 million SF, which comes to around $4,35 million US or €3,3 million, to complete the it bejeweled SLR with 24 karat gold and rubies plastered throughout.

Talking about wings, take Ueli Anliker dressed Mercedes‘s supercar in a detailed bodykit that makes ASMA’s tuning proposals look like a work of art. And let’s not reason about the interior. The Anliker McLaren SLR 999 Red Gold Dream made its unveiling at this week’s at the Swiss tuning show Auto Emotionen (April 24 to 26). New McLaren P11 supercar spied at Testing

These is the first photos of the prototypes for the new model, project name ‘P11’, have been spied at testing near McLaren’s factory in Surrey, UK. Under the black-and-white camouflage is the McLaren P11 which will attribute a, much chiseled appearance that its McLaren F1 predecessor. Though brutally covered, the prototypes also bare a mid-engine describe, a tall, squared-off tail, suddenly overhangs, and lessened back headlights.

Expect a difficult carbon-composite chassis, lightning astute F1-shape propel turn gearbox and carbon-stoneware brakes. While Mercedes’ partnership with McLaren will rapidly come to end, the German carmaker is tipped to be supplying its 6.2L AMG V8 engine. McLaren engineers, however, are expected to work over the engine to the tune of 550hp (410kW).

All-Chromed Mercedes McLaren SLR spotted in Dubai, UAE

The shiny McLaren SLR was blemished scarce one of the world’s prevalent shopping centers, the Mall in Dubai,  United Arab Emirates, which looks to be the same place where the Pegaso book Bugatti Veyron was patterned. The Mall is the largest in the Middle East, at least awaiting construction is finished on the two bigger ones also being built in Dubai.

Hamilton Will Receive $4m McLaren F1 LM for 2008 Title

News: Lewis Hamilton will earn its 4 million US dollars in 2008 rewarded…
