Novitec Rosso claims to be “the world leader tuner of sports cars from Maranello.” Standard Ferraris were hardly in a state detuned when exit doors Maranello, in the first place, so as to extract more power from their engine is a feat Indeed. The easiest way is obviously of force inducing the Ferrari range of naturally aspirated engines with either a turbocharger or as in this case, a supercharger. ferrari_f430_race_novitec.jpg

That, in itself, a substantial increase on the engine power standard, but Novitec Rosso decided to adapt not one but two superchargers F430 of the 4.3L V8 to create the “RACE” specification tune. Novitec Rosso has already released a version of this engine that has produced an astonishing 656hp but their RACE ups this specification by another 51hp make a fairly generous 707hp at 8350 rpm. Torque also increases to a Equally impressive 712Nm at 6300 rpm, which allows any Novitec Rosso Ferrari 430 RACE kitted hitting 100kph in 3.5 seconds and, according to the gearing, top 348kph. Phew, the numbers indeed serious.

To allow Novitec Rosso to extract the extra power, its engineers had to change blades of the turbine on the supercharger boost and increase to 0.48 bar. All this extra boost air must be cooled and a set of two major water intercoolers to the air very well do the job. The increase in the amount of air entering the cylinder is useless if there is not the requisite amount of fuel being burned. To cope, Novitec Rosso, engineers have used larger injectors. Both the intake system and exhaust side changes have been faced with the additional mass flow through the engine.
