Nissan GT-R Is Official Super GT Pace Car

Nissan and Nissan Motorsports International (NISMO) announced today that the new Nissan GT-R will be involved in the 2008 Super GT Series as the official pace car.
This year also marks the return of the Nissan GT-R in the GT Series GT500, the racing car 493 hp weighs 1100 kg and will be driven by five drivers spread over four teams.This Sunday, March 16, we can finally see how far the new GT-R GT500 rows facing competition on the Suzuka circuit in Japan.

Before the start of the race Nissan will present the new pace car for the opening ceremony, along with the new GT-R will add Pace Car of the Nissan GT-R race cars last (2003 XANAVI NISMO GT-R, 1996 NISMO GT-R LM 1990 Clarion and Calsonic Skyline). The former GT-R’s will do the demo-head with the pace car after the presentation ceremony.
