17 03 2008

Audi Q5 dominated the headlines about a month, when several so-called “first pictures” of the five-seater SUV found their way through the various online sites. It was originally reported to its world debut in Geneva, but this was rejected speculation, if his announced Audi Q7 V12 TDI sometime later. after a month of silence, rumors about the debut of the Q5 are now resurfacing.
Auto Week reports that the Q5 will be introduced at the Beijing Motor Show next month, packed with seven new Audi-speed DSG / S-Tronic. It is based on Audi MLP platform (which also seems to underpin the Porsche coming five-seater SUV), with a longitudinal engine placement. The new gear can be up to 405 lb-ft of 8500 rpm torque and speed of the engine and is first in the future quattro models and in the new A4, and subsequently in all front-wheel-drive models.
