Merc these days is rubbish compared to Audi or BMW. Style and build quality are some of the main factors.

I have to agree w/ Haz. Mercedes is rubbish in terms of styling and quality/dependability. Audi is the new Mercedes – understated, rare, well built. This car is more bland than a Camry. The CLK, w/ those cheap-looking peanut headlights are a disgrace. Mercedes knows it can design absolute junk and Americans will buy it for status. I’ll be a significant amount of Merc’s revenues are from repairing these undependable piles of poorly styled junk.
