New 2010 Mazda MX-5 (Miata) leaked photo

After first official sketches about a month ago, a Spanish website KM77 released the first photo of the facelifted new Mazda MX-5 / Miata small roadster.

The pictures show a conservative restyling of the roadster’s major features. The evolutionary styling changes include the larger, and more trapezoidal-shaped grille that nests in a restyled bumper featuring a front splitter and new fog light inserts. Mazda also redesigned the car’s headlights which appear to have a more angular shape.

While the changes are far from general, they will have to season for some more days at least as the discharge of the next MX-5 has been pressed back to 2012. The debate for the obstruct is reportedly because of tactics for a new coupe kind as well as development of a new lightweight platform and next-generation powertrain.
