2009 Pontiac G3 Officialy Revealed for U.S. Market

Pontiac has announced that all-new G3 will be headedto the United States as a 2009 model year five-door hatchback. First revealed as the Pontiac Wave5 prior this year for the Canadian auto market, the G3 is essentially a repackaged Daewoo Gentra, Holden Barina or Chevrolet Aveo5.

Consistent with the sport oriented Pontiac mark, the G3 is taxing active attire, however, the G3 simultaneously fills an additional stain in Pontiac’s “over 30 mpg” smash which already includes the 2009 Vibe (32 mpg), 2009 G6 sedan (33 mpg) and G5 coupe (37 mpg) models. The G3 has a 106 horsepower (79 kW) 1.6L Ecotec four-cylinder engine which is mated to a five-velocity physical or optional four-hurry mandatory transmission.

Greenpeace present new ML Pig tuning in protest against Mercedes in Germany

Greenpeace activists have banded together once again and staged a protest in front of a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Cologne, Germany,  to hassle company about global warming. The demonstrators presented a pink ML-Class all dressed up in pig ears and snout.

Last year it was Porsche cars are “Climate Pigs” (photo below) and even festooned a Porsche Cayenne Turbo out in pink pig uniform to get their memo across.
