New 2009 Volkswagen Golf Plus Mark VI revealed at Bologna Motor Show

Volkswagen revealed the all new sixth-generation Golf Plus, which will divide the same face as the Golf Mark VI, at the 2008 Bolonga Motor Show.

The engine line-up will be like to the Mark VI Golf and will enter two petrol and two TDI diesel engines. The ignoble component will be a 1.4L petrol four cylinder with 75hp (55kW) and the span topper will be a 2.0L TFSI with 150hp (110kW). Transmissions will compose a six-pace manual as average and a new seven-rate DSG as an option. Expect to see the car in dealerships early next year.

New 2010 Audi A5/S5 Cabriolet revealed (details and photo)

Audi revealed the all-new A5 and S5 Cabriolet ahead of their worldwide debut at the Geneva Motorshow. It production will start early next year, with first sales scheduled for the first half of 2009.

The most exciting variant, the S5 Cabriolet, gets a new supercharged 3.0L TFSI V6 engine with address booster, good for 333hp (245kW) and 324lb-ft (440Nm) of torque. Quattro all-helm propel, a sport suspension and 18in wheels bonus a stretch of unusual apparatus skin peg the S5 Cabrio as the empty travel of the new limit. The car vaults from a sojourn to 62mph (100km/h) in just 5.6 seconds, carries onto an electronically partial top race of 155mph (250km/h) and still manages fuel efficiency of 24.5mpg (9.6L/100km). Pricing for the S5 variant hasn’t yet been released.

Fisker Karma plug-in Hybrid Previewed Ahead Of Detroit Auto Show

Fisker Automotive has confirmed that it will shown for the first time in full production of the Karma plug-in hybrid at the Detroit Auto Show as scheduled.

The Fisker Karma‘s turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine produces 260 horsepower, and coupled with the large 22.6 kWh Li-Ion battery is good for a reported 5.8-following 0-60 run, a 125-mph top tempo and a shared 408 horsepower. The Karma has a 50-mile bursting-thrilling limit, and the ability to typical 100mpg.
