Ford officially revealed their new high performance sedan – 2010 Taurus SHO (Super High Output). Scheduling to make its debut at the Chicago Auto Show this week, the new Taurus SHO comes with the Blue Oval’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine matched to a six-pace sure transmission with scull-shifters and an AWD system.


The new SHO based on the 2010 Taurus. Peak output is rated at 365hp (272kW) and 350lb-ft (474Nm), making the Taurus SHO the most evocative application of EcoBoost so far. Ford is yet to expose any performance or fuel-discount numbers but imagine to see 0-60mph period in the low six seconds grade.

The Taurus SHO driveline is contemporized with the incorporation of a limited AWD practice that engages automatically when it detects the wheels are slipping. Inside, there leather-trimmed seats with suede inserts, a perforated leather-wrapped steering helm, 10-way power adjustable front seats, SHO branding on the confound mats and seats, and faux aluminum embellish accents.

Available options involve a reverse camera, adaptive cruise restrict, and Ford’s latest Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Alert counsel systems. Other goodies contain massaging seats, a pronounce-started navigation procedure and 10GB juke box, and a 12-lecturer Sony audio practice.

The new 2010 Taurus SHO will be built at Ford’s Chicago building place and will be available in dealerships by the inner of the year at a initial penalty of $37,995.
