Mercedes-Benz tuning group RENNTECH based in Florida has proposed a next project – Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen (Gelandewagen). Nevertheless instead of the familiar G55 AMG package, RENNtech is considering souping up a diesel model – the 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine.
The body kit for G-Wagen speaks volumes about who might buy this car once it’s been polished. From these sketch we can mark the huge sonorous dish wheels, quite of shiny parts and a wide body kit. The will necessity many pots to grill up enough of rule to entice something that weighs almost three tons (6,600 lbs) along.

This variety is not free Stateside but since more automakers are introducing or, considering diesel as a selection on sedans, it may be a wise move. At 224hp (165kW) and 397 lb-ft (540Nm) of torque the diesel engine is no slump. The other option is to use the better 4.0-litre turbo diesel worth 250hp (184kW), 411 lb-ft (560Nm). Rest assured though that when RENNtech is done, all those numbers will be dwarfed.
