New Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA Concept Officially Revealed ahead of Geneva Motor Show

The new Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA Concept was revealed ahead its scheduled debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The car would arrive in the middle of this year packing a brand new 1.75L four-cylinder petrol engine turbocharged to the tune of 230hp (172kW).


One may have their cramp about Alfa Romeo, but the Italian automaker doesn’t cuff labels such as the GTA on its models lightly. The GTA (Gran Turismo Alleggerito) signature carries with it a lot of narration and so Alfa Romeo has seen fit to sway this car with a <1.8 liter engine.

Engineering by Fiat Powertrain Technologies and making use of know-how from Twin Spark and the Alfa V6 engine designs, this cuddly little 1.8 liter churns out a remarkable 240 hp.
