Refreshed 2010 Mazda CX-9 headed for New York Auto Show

Mazda has revealed photos of the updated 2010 CX-9 that will be debut at the New York Auto Show next month. For 2010MY, the seven-seat crossover will have smaller foglights and receive a barrier on the controversial “smiley face” front full that has already been exposed for 2010 on the Mazda3, MX-5 Miata and refreshed CX-7.

Judging by the complete idea, changes enter a new front fascia integrating this five-item lattice, along with different lighting units and outdoor mirrors. Besides the external fettling, Mazda also is promising new options and wellbeing skin, along with improved major dynamics. All details will be released later.

Terrible accident: Chrysler Crossfire and Delivery Truck collided in Russian (video)

A terrible high speed accident has been captured on a security camera in Russian city Chelyabinsk: a speeding Chrysler Crossfire that ignored the red light at the intersection and at a speed of 200 km/h collided with a delivery truck.

The accident occurred deferred at night in a lightly-trafficked intersection, but the fallout are terrible to say the least. The two occupants of the Chrysler Crossfire died in the accident while the truck was split in half and the driver was thrown clear of the accident and survived. Production Version of the new 2010 BMW 5-Series GT Teased on Video

BMW gave us the first preview of the production-ready version of the new 5-Series GT (Gran Turismo) Concept vehicle. Compared to the Geneva concept car, not much has changed on the outside as the only significant differences seem to concern the conventional exterior mirrors and alloy wheels. The interior however is another story as BMW toned down the design and removed the funky trim options in favor of a more production-style look.  the 5-Series GT that will be officially introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September.

The body of the 2010 5-series GT skin a mix of elements from crossover, hatchback and cart bodystyles, melding them together to construct something that is relatively single in the automotive world. While the styling may not be to everybody’s test, BMW insists there is a bazaar for a premium carriage with an auto-like profile and enough of innovative storeroom solutions. A take on the renowned Hofmeister hook can be found at the rear of the graphic line, spinning a very non-classical BMW profile into something more recognizable. Terrafugia ‘Flying Car’ Makes it’s Historic First Flight (+ video)

Now we can say: “a flying cars are already here!!” We Congratulate Massachusetts developers and their ultra-future roadable aircraft called Terrafugia with the first successful flight. The LIVE flight can be seen in its entirety in video bellow.

The Transition Roadable Aircraft Proof of Concept is capable of converting from a small plane into a car in about thirty seconds. As an aircraft, the two-seater should be allowed to take off and land at any regional airport. When used as such, a Sport Pilot certify is necessary. In the air, the vehicle is skillful of about 115 mph, with a snatched-only range of 450 miles. As a car, it travels up to 65 mph, and gets 30 mpg.
