Second Audi e-Tron Concept Appeared in Detroit (photos)

The new version of the Audi e-Tron concept, that first exposed at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, has appeared in Detroit. When looking at the Frankfurt e-Tron a R8 directly comes to care. The Detroit e-Tron is actually 27 cm (10.63 inches) shorter in piece and 12 cm (4.72 inches) narrower and only 1 cm (0.39 shuffle) shorter in height. It has a sickening stress of around 1,350 kg (2976.24 lbs), which is 250 kg (551.16 lbs) excluding than the Frankfurt e-Tron.

Two electric motors drive the front and rear axles. Together they make 150kW (204hp) and 2,650 Nm (1954.54 lb-ft) of torque which can be liberally pied between the wheels as necessary. The car is said to accelerate from 0 – 100km/h in 5.9 seconds and is imperfect to 200km/h (124mph).

New Audi R8 e-Tron Concept Officially Revealed: Four Electric Motors with 4,500Nm of Torque (photos + video)

The new Audi R8 e-Tron Concept has officially revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Audi’s super concept powered by four electric motors, two each at the front and rear axles driving all four wheels, that produce a combined output of 230kW or 313HP along with a maximum, yes you are not mistaken, 4,500 Nm (3,319 lb-ft) of torque!! It’s a fantastic result of engineering.

The new E-Tron accelerates from 0 – 100km/h time of 4.8 seconds, a top pace of 200km/h and a breadth of about 248km on plump lithium-ion vigor. Recharging the 213kg battery push at the back to detailed post requires six to eight hours on a common 220V conduit while a 400V close will do the job in about two and the half hours.

New VW E-Up! Electric Concept Revealed (details and photos)

Volkswagen has revealed the new all-electric VW E-Up! Concept car at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new concept is a three-door minicar powered by an 80Hp electric engine that drives the front wheels. The German automaker plans to begin production of the Up! Family in 2011.

The E-Up! concept is 3.2-meter long, 1.64 meters in width and 1.47 meters in height with a wheelbase of 2.19 meters and it’s smaller than a Fiat 500. However, VW’s designers managed to add in 3+1 seats which means the front passenger seat is positioned 50 mm onward, credit to the instruments being pushed foster up front.

New 2010 Nissan Leaf Electric Car Officially Revealed (details and photos)

Nissan has released the all-new LEAF that is an effusive exciting-powered car which is the world’s first affordable zero-emission vehicle. Prices have not been announced to verify the affordability maintain but the party states that it will descend within the C segment.

The all-electric LEAF does not emit wounding gases and then was not planned to have a tailpipe. All-Electric Coda Automotive Sedan Launched (photos and video)

A California company Miles EV that is developing zero-emission, full electric vehicles, brand new all-electric car Coda Automotive. The Coda sedan will be assembled in China by Hafei under the direction of staff from Coda unknown procedure to give an all-electric vehicle to trade by the end of 2010. Coda expects real world range to be about 90-120 miles, depending on driving conditions. Car will be sale only in California, for a $45,000 pricetag.

Power comes from lithium-ion batteries shaped through an existing covenant with China-based Lishen, that has been heavily re-engineered by Porsche Engineering and also makes lithium-ion batteries for Apple, Motorola, Samsung, and Vodafone. These two companies have also decided to inflate their partnership to “conceive, manufacture and sell transportation and service power storage battery systems,” presumably to other automakers looking for an easier attempt into the electric vehicle advertise.

New Tesla Model S Electric car Revealed (official details and photos)

Tesla Motors has revealed the all-new Model S plug-in electric sports vehicle in Los Angeles. The new Model S can seat up to seven passengers, accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 5.6 seconds and go up to 300 miles or 480km on a single charge. First deliveries in North America and Europe will arise in overdue 2011 with the U.S. pattern featuring a base price of $57,400.

The photos show that Tesla’s designers were strongly influenced by European cars and in particular the Jaguar XF when it came to the notchback’s buttocks and profile and to a minus size, the Maserati GranTurismo for the car’s front-end styling. Tesla claims that the Model S which has an inclusive duration of 196-inches (4,978mm) or, where between a BMW 5 and 7-Series, offers places for five adults plus two rear-facing and foldable seats for children in the rear goods vicinity. New Infiniti Essence Concept Revealed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show

First spy photos of new Opel Ampera Uncovered

Fisrt spy photos of the new GM’s Opel Ampera electric vehicle leaked into the web  ahead it’s world debut at Geneva Motor Show pressure conference on March 3 .

The first design sketches of the Ampera, which is the Euro-market type of the Chevrolet Volt advertise-in mixture, leaked to the web just yesterday. The Ampera prototype immovable in photos looks production-ready and it’s feasible this pallid car is in the means of being shot for the squash kit. New Opel Ampera Electric car teased ahead of Geneva Motor Show

General Motors announced Opel Ampera electric car which based at electric propulsion technology, called Voltec, that allows the car to run exclusively on lithium-ion string nation emotional via a model 230v exit for up to 60 km (37 miles). New RUF’s electric vehicle based on Porsche 911

RUF develops new electric vehicle which based on a Porsche 911 and powering by a three-chapter emotional motor that offers about 200 horsepower along with an impressive 480 lb.-ft. Chrysler debuts all-Electric Dodge EV, Jeep EV and Chrysler EV cars

Today Chrysler LLC present all-electric versions of the Chrysler Town & Country, Jeep Wrangler along with a Dodge branded sportscar based on the Lotus Europa. Chrysler intends to have 100 of these vehicles on the highway next year with the Government set to be the highest beneficiary before bursting production begins in 2010 for trade in the North American and European markets. The technology combines an exciting motor that drives the wheels along with a future lithium-ion series order and a controller that manages energy gush.

“This technology provides customers with a vehicle that has nothing tailpipe emissions and a 150- to 200-mile dynamic series – far exceeding most Americans’ daily commutes, as virtually 80 percent of Americans energy excluding than 40 miles per day, or 14,000 miles per year,” said Frank Klegon, Executive Vice President – Product Development, Chrysler LLC. “Electric Vehicles afford the opportunity to fulfil gathering responsibility, decrease dependency on exotic oil, and eliminate monthly petrol bills, while delivering performance and function that our customers implore.”
