New Seat IBE Concept Revealed in Geneva (details and photos)

The Seat IBE Concept has unveiled at 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The car has an impressive and freshly design, it also powered by an electric drive system with zero-emissions capabilities.

SEAT says the IBE Concept is expected at urban users which is very like the coupe shape. It’s 3.78 metres long, 1.8 metres wide and is 1.2 metres high. A set of four 19-creep wheels with low rolling resistance tyres are fixed. Full LED headlights characterise the front end while the two air intakes in the decrease bumper help with cooling the car.

Second Audi e-Tron Concept Appeared in Detroit (photos)

The new version of the Audi e-Tron concept, that first exposed at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, has appeared in Detroit. When looking at the Frankfurt e-Tron a R8 directly comes to care. The Detroit e-Tron is actually 27 cm (10.63 inches) shorter in piece and 12 cm (4.72 inches) narrower and only 1 cm (0.39 shuffle) shorter in height. It has a sickening stress of around 1,350 kg (2976.24 lbs), which is 250 kg (551.16 lbs) excluding than the Frankfurt e-Tron.

Two electric motors drive the front and rear axles. Together they make 150kW (204hp) and 2,650 Nm (1954.54 lb-ft) of torque which can be liberally pied between the wheels as necessary. The car is said to accelerate from 0 – 100km/h in 5.9 seconds and is imperfect to 200km/h (124mph).

New Audi R8 e-Tron Concept Officially Revealed: Four Electric Motors with 4,500Nm of Torque (photos + video)

The new Audi R8 e-Tron Concept has officially revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Audi’s super concept powered by four electric motors, two each at the front and rear axles driving all four wheels, that produce a combined output of 230kW or 313HP along with a maximum, yes you are not mistaken, 4,500 Nm (3,319 lb-ft) of torque!! It’s a fantastic result of engineering.

The new E-Tron accelerates from 0 – 100km/h time of 4.8 seconds, a top pace of 200km/h and a breadth of about 248km on plump lithium-ion vigor. Recharging the 213kg battery push at the back to detailed post requires six to eight hours on a common 220V conduit while a 400V close will do the job in about two and the half hours.

New VW E-Up! Electric Concept Revealed (details and photos)

Volkswagen has revealed the new all-electric VW E-Up! Concept car at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new concept is a three-door minicar powered by an 80Hp electric engine that drives the front wheels. The German automaker plans to begin production of the Up! Family in 2011.

The E-Up! concept is 3.2-meter long, 1.64 meters in width and 1.47 meters in height with a wheelbase of 2.19 meters and it’s smaller than a Fiat 500. However, VW’s designers managed to add in 3+1 seats which means the front passenger seat is positioned 50 mm onward, credit to the instruments being pushed foster up front.

New Opel Ampera Revealed: First official image

The first official image of the new Opel Ampera has revealed. The car is destined to be the European styled Chevrolet Volt provided by GM. The new Ampera as it will be debuting on March 3rd at the Geneva Motor Show and planned for launch in Europe in 2011.

UPDATED: with new photos + interior shots

The new Ampera is a 5-door, 4-seat hatch powered by GM’s Voltec bung-in cross scheme and is said to have a scale of 60 km running only on the lithium-ion string. An interior combustion engine acts as a generator to re-charge the batteries which GM/Opel claims will give the car an impressive complete span of 500 km. The Ampera’s string can be re-exciting through any 230 volt electrical means.

New RUF’s electric vehicle based on Porsche 911

RUF develops new electric vehicle which based on a Porsche 911 and powering by a three-chapter emotional motor that offers about 200 horsepower along with an impressive 480 lb.-ft. Of torque, the eRUF Model A can reportedly hit 60 miles per hour in under seven seconds and can reach a top rush of 160.

Power comes from a lithium iron phosphate sequence cram, which produces 317-volts and 480-amps and is made up from 96 individual cells. A satisfied price takes a very long 10-hours, and regenerative braking is included in the packet allowing for an array of up to 180 miles.
