Honda has revealed the first official photos of the all-new 2010 Accord Crosstour CUV for the North American market. The car will go on sale in the States this fall.

Honda not uncovered all the details but a close inspection of the photos reveals a “4WD” badge sense that the Accord Crosstour will whichever be unfilled with all-controls urge as yardstick or as a choice.

New 2010 Honda Accord crossover/wagon (CUV) Spied

Spy photographers caught all-new Honda crossover/wagon. This Accord-based vehicle has been held for wholly a while now and these pics are the first proof the plan has finally been green-lighted.


At first glance, this vehicle may look like nothing more than the European Honda Accord Tourer. Closer inspection reveals that are not the casing. For starters, the U.S. sell Honda Accord front end has been grafted against the body. While most of the body on this mule is non-production, this front end may actually be close to the decisive target of the nose we see on the production CUV.

Honda Accord Tourer: International ‘Red Dot’ Award

One of the most prestigious and sought after awards in the world was won by the new Honda Accord Tourer (for Europe). The 51st International Red Dot Award for the design of high quality hour belongs to the abrupt Accord Tourer. This is actually the third time Honda has received special mention on this award, the first is for the 2000 and 2001 Honda Civic and 2006.
Numerati over 3000 entries for this time from places far away – no one off the planet – numbering 51 countries to be exact.

Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, Initiator of the red dot design awards, said: “Faced with a greater number of high quality products, our international jury of experts recognized this year found the task of selecting the winner to be particularly challenging. This distinction explicitly acknowledges your creativity and innovative drive, and pays tribute to the high standard of product quality. ”

The future of these awards will be even more demanding as automotive design moves to the next phase of consolidation is the key in which at the same time, in consideration for the safety, environment, performance is more in the limelight.
