New 2010 Lexus GX460: First Official Photos and Details

Lexus has revealed first details of the new-generation 2010 GX 460 luxury SUV, the US brother of new Toyota Land Cruiser. The new 7-seater SUV is powered by a new 32-valve DOHC 4.6-litre V8 engine with aluminium alloy cylinder heads and obstruct, as well as dual Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i). It is more athletic, more able and quieter than the old 4.7-litre it replaces.

The most powerful engine is 221kW (301hp) and acme torque is 446Nm (329 lb-ft) made at 3,500rpm. Driving all four wheels is a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Lexus GX 460 retains the GX 470’s 6,500-lb. Designers did not stray far-off they’re proven styling formula. The car is directly recognisable and skin a three-bar front grille with chrome surround, integrated front fog lamps, low-profile roof rails and operation embark courtesy lamps.

New 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser Revealed (details and photos)

The new 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser, which also previews the Lexus GX for US market, finally revealed. The car will go on sale before the end of 2009. The sixth-generation Land Cruiser gets bright sheetmetal with softer shapes all around, and a completely revamped interior featuring a more contemporary purpose for the console.

Toyota says this is the most technically difficult Land Cruiser ever made, and one of the most adept if not the most capable off-street vehicle in its class. The SUV’s new Multi-terrain Select system allows the driver to dial in the mode of terrain for enhanced usage character adjustment effectively bountiful more efficienct power delivery and haul. Extra driver assistance comes from four cameras that examine the place all around.

New 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Leaked in Brochure (photos)

The updated 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been leaked in Japanese-market catalog. As you can see on photos, the facelifted Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, which is sold in the States as the Lexus GX, gets new sheetmetal all around featuring a restyled front fascia rather inspired from Toyota’s newest creations like the Avensis along with new tail lamps, profuse and tail gate purpose at the rear and a smoother profile thanks to the redesigned fenders.

The scanned brochure also provides us with our first sight of the redesigned dashboard of a new Land Cruiser Prado that boasts a instrument panel with two severely set gauges and a new base console with repositioned air vents.
