Tuning: G-POWER Modifed the New BMW X5M and X6M (photos)

G-Power tuning group has offered BMW buyers their sport package with aerodynamic and performance enhancements for the X5 M and X6 M that made M-models more powerfull and exclusive.

The German tuner has upgraded the 4.4-liter V8 turbocharged engine found in both M models with reprogrammed ECU resulting in a modest boost in output to 600 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 700Nm or 516 squash feet of torque from 2,000 rpm. G-Power engineers also deleted the speed limiter, and now this two SUVs are propelled to a top speed more than 300km/h (187mph), with 0 to 100km/h (62mph) acceleration arrival in 4.5 seconds and to 200km/h (124mph) in just 16.2 seconds.

New BMW X5M & X6M Officially Revealed (details + photos + video)

Her it is!! BMW officially revealed new powerfull ‘M’ crossovers the X5M and the X6M. These are the most divisive models ever to hold the M badge. However, BMW vows that both crossovers element all the normal sport characteristics one would require from a M-badged model. Under the cover, this translates to an all-new 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that cranks out 555HP at 6,000 rpm and a gigantic 680Nm or 501-lbs/ft of crest torque unfilled between 1,500 and 5,650 rpm.

Those facts put to infamy the M5‘s and M6‘s 5.0-liter purely aspirated V10 that generates 507HP and 520Nm or 383-lbs/ft of summit torque. Nevertheless no need to unease as from what our sources tell us, the new twin-scroll turbo V8 will return the V10 in the next generation M5 and M6 models. For the first time in a BMW M shape, the X5M’s and X6M’s V8 is knotted to a 6-speed M Sports Automatic transmission with full automatic mode as well as M driving mode. Both models retain BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-turn-drive order, still it has been revamped to distribute more influence to the rear wheels.

In provisos of performance, both M models accelerate to 100 km/h (62mph) from a standstill in 4.7 seconds and achieve an electronically limited top tempo of 250km/h (155mph) or 275km/h (171mph) with the optional “M Driver’s Package.”

First Images of the new 2010 Acura Crossover Leaked

The first teaser images of the upcoming all-new Acura Sports Crossover have been leaked. It appears that this is a near-production version of Acura’s BMW X6-esque crossover that has been spied in the past.

Although Acura avoided providing any niceties with the images, it acquit that the new pattern will be based off the MDX but will ditch its conventional sport-ute styling in improve of the “four-door vehicle on stilts” appearance pioneered by the BMW X6. From the photos, it appears the as of yet nameless Acura CUV will highlight bold styling with stuffed front and rear well-wheels as well as unseen rear passenger door handles which helps to underpin the sedan-like outline. Reports denote that the new intersect will adopt Acura’s newest styling theme, gist we can imagine a style of the circle’s protect lattice to look up front while the rear could have a pointed tail akin to that of the TL.

BMW X6 ActiveHybrid, more Power (spy foto)

This is not an ordinary BMW X6. I would say that what they see dome! Our photographer caught this spyware disguised BMW X6 Active Hybrid, the first hybrid BMW-powered interface – yes, the BMW X6 is officially a coupe with four doors, without a definition of the terms of the time that modern cuts.

The engine is a two-mode gasoline-electric hybrid engine developed in collaboration with GM and Daimler and the reduction of fuel consumption by 20 percent. As with all hybrid vehicles, the X6 Active Hybrid works or electrical energy or internal combustion engines are used, depending on whether the vehicle is working with low or high speed and produce energy braking system. Apparently gigantic dome, the energy is there, just for testing purposes, had thought that?
