First Official Photos: 2010 Mercedes E-Class Leaked

These is the first official images of the new 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which will make it debut at the 2009 Geneva International Motor Show.

The new E-Class has grown in size, length and width for more comfort and interior space. Safety has been a paramount consideration of course and we see that in the new impact absorbing bonnet that pops up 5cm to lessen injury to cyclists or pedestrians in a low speed collision. There’s also a system that recognises potential collisions and warns through the driver’s pedal that it’s time to brake .

Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION previews next-gen E-Class

Mercedes-Benz will present new ConceptFASCINATION at the Paris Motor Show next month, it previews the outline for the next generation E-Class, the first model variant of which will be launched in 2010.

The German automaker is looking to stretch the body reach of it’s mid-mass luxury car by re branding the next generation CLK as an E-Class auto, it will touch the sedan and estate classical variants already offered. It is an attempt by Mercedes to gain the E genre to the legendary eminence once achieved by the W124 E-Class, however the new E-Class Coupe will still display the underpinnings of the tide generation C-Class.
