New 2009 Hyundai Sonata Sedan Facelift Reavealed in China

Hyundai‘s joint venture with China’s Beijing Automotive Holdings has unveiled a facelifted section of the Sonata that will go on auction in the domestic souk by the end of the year. The refreshed Sonata, codenamed NFC, will be created at Hyundai’s new hide in Beijing. Comparing to the outgoing Sonata that was almost the same car as the one sold in other international markets including the U.S. and Europe, styling changes involve the restyled (Nissan-inspired) front- and (Toyota Camry-inspired) rear-end.

As for the absence of a chrome strip on the passenger’s high quality front view and on the driver’s side rear display, the jury is still out on whether this is an intentional styling device of some type or if the guy responsible at the factory took a longer than regular auburn sever at the time of the meeting.
